Word Wall Headers, Santa Claus, and a Freebie For You

I have been obsessed with making word wall header packs... seriously.. I have made like a gazillion!  It started out simple enough... I'll just make some word wall headers for myself... then it snowballed into MAKE ALL THE HEADERS!  Does that ever happen to you?  I sure hope so... because otherwise that means I'm just weird.  Check out what I've been up to this week...

My classroom had a dinosaur theme last year... so that's where this started... then it just kinda kept going!  I think I'm going to stop for awhile!  Do you need word wall headers in your room for next year?  Check out any of the packs I listed... OR grab this one for free!!!
These are 4" chalkboard headers... very simple, but would look super cute with any color scheme/theme you have going on in your room.  I hope you can use them!!!

OK... before I go... I wanted to share a funny from one of the Ms today...  I asked M2 what he wanted to be when he grows up... I do that a lot because his answer is always changing.  Today he said, "I think I want to be a mailman because they know where Santa lives... and also that looks like an easy job!"  I love that kid and his 5 year old logic!  Being a mom ROCKS!

Also, don't forget about the Starbucks giveaway... it ends this Friday if you haven't entered yet... You can find the post HERE!!!  Hope y'all had a great Tuesday... talk to ya soon!

Choosing to Be Fully Present

Today I didn't work on anything even remotely school related and it was really nice.  Today is day 2 of our spring break...  my boys and I met up with a friend and her kidlets for lunch at the local Mexican restaurant... nom nom nom!  After lunch we hit up the pottery painting place.  I have never taken my children before out of fear... fear of not knowing how they would do... with visions of broken pottery everywhere... and they did GREAT!  My M1 chose a jet to paint and M2 chose a skull (he's got a dark side...).  We have to wait 7-10 days which is the hard part when you're 5 and 6 years old... but I know they'll be tickled when their painted pieces are ready!
After we were all painted out... we went to get cupcakes downtown.  Altogether... it was the perfect day.  I have a Stouffer's lasagna in the oven (don't judge) and am washing some laundry... tomorrow we are driving to Savannah to have lunch with the hubs and check out the dollar bins at Target!  Hope y'all had a great Tuesday...see you soon!
